O2 UK delays wireline debut

Tools

O2 appears to be taking a cautious approach with its move into U.K.'s wireline market. After announcing in January that it would launch an integrated wireline broadband bundled service, O2, according to an ISPreview report, will now roll the new service out 'later in the spring.'

When asked about the delay, an O2 spokesperson said the company wanted to work out all of the bugs before making the service available to customers.

"Whenever we launch a product we always want to ensure our customers get the best service possible, particularly when you see the dissatisfaction customers have with other providers," the spokesperson said in an ISPreview article. "We will be launching our Home Phone service later in the spring."
