Orange makes FMC bear fruit

France Telecom's Orange reported that by the end of September, it had sold 468,000 dual-mode handsets in support of its Unik fixed-mobile converged service. The carrier continues to set the standard for FMC success, excelling where others have stumbled or have feared to tread. What's Orange doing so right? It bundles the offering with a broadband service and home gateway. It seems like many other wireline and wireless carriers could do the same.
