Qwest declares quarterly dividend

Qwest Communications, which had gone six years without offering a quarterly dividend until earlier this year, has declared its second straight dividend. The dividend of 8 cents per share will be payable Aug. 29 for shareholders of record as of Aug. 8. The telco is set to report its second quarter earnings on Aug. 6.
