Seidenberg sees enterprise expansion

Verizon Communications CEO Ivan Seidenberg last week spoke to Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal on several subjects. While most of the telecom industry is busy analyzing his comments about the iPhone to figure out if or when Verizon might have the superstar gadget on its network, Seidenberg also mentioned a few items of broader relevance. For example, he said the company is not likely to pursue many more domestic acquisitions (though Verizon has been mentioned as a candidate to buy Qwest's long-haul network), but is more interested right now in continuing to expand its global enterprise business through acquisition.
