Spotlight: UAE leads MENA in telecom penetration
Arab Advisors Group has reported that the United Arab Emirates leads all of the Middle East and North Africa region in total telecom connectivity, using the research firms scale that includes wireline, wireless and Internet penetration. The UAE total penetration is at 329.5 percent, having shown strong growth since its 261.4 percent rating two years ago. Other countries in the AAG's top five in the region include Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait. Check out this story at Light Reading
