Supercomm organizer prepares marketing push

Supercomm 2009 was originally scheduled to start next week. What would you have been doing right now if that was still the plan? Putting the finishing touches on a presentation? Trying to get the final sign-offs on a major announcement? Wondering what the weather was like in Chicago (It's 55 degrees and partly cloudy today), or lamenting the fact that your company couldn't afford to send you? And, now that the show has been moved to October, what are you doing late this week and next? Taking vacation? Wishing you didn't get a pay cut and could still afford a vacation? Wondering what the weather will be like in Chicago in October (your guess is as good as mine), or lamenting the fact that you have to attend Supercomm at all?

In any case, you still have a few months to think about what would have been and what will be. Telephony reports in an interview with show director Ron Mathews that Supercomm organizer Expocomm Events is set to begin its new marketing effort next week "to highlight the many changes to the  Oct. 21-23 trade show in Chicago."
