AT&T speeds IPTV installations

AT&T said just within that last month that it had amassed 100,000 IPTV subscribers and was aiming for 10,000 installations per week by the end of this year. A large part of its ability to speed up deployment lies in the ability of its field technicians to continue to reduce the average time per installation.

The carrier is averaging about 6.5 hours per installation now and still getting faster.
