TRaC cuts ribbon on new DSL testing facility

Tools

DSL manufacturers rejoice: Testing Regulatory and Compliance (TRaC) has officially opened up a new DSL test facility in England. Located in Hull, the new facility will allow chipset suppliers, equipment vendors and service providers to access nine test rigs, over 25 DSLAMs, two dedicated interoperability labs, as well as access to both European and U.S. DSLAMs and 24/7 working with remote capability.

At this facility, anyone developing a DSL piece of equipment or service will be able to test ADSL, SHDSL, ADSL2+, and VDSL2 in addition to global regulatory testing of EMC, Radio Safety and DSL. TRaC's opening of the UK-based center comes on the heels of TRaC's relocation of its testing operations from Santa Clara, Ca. back to the UK.
