tw telecom to deliver services to government agencies in GSA's Region 9

tw telecom (Nasdaq: TWTC) has struck another win its government services column as it has secured a contract from the from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) for voice and data services in Region 9 (California).

As an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ), the service provider will give federal agencies in GSA Region 9 access to four service sets: digital voice/voice-over-IP services; a fully managed, E-Line Ethernet WAN service; Extended Native LAN (ENLAN) service; and Private Network Transport (PNT) service.

Set to run through March 2014, the contract also includes provisions for two one-year renewal options.

Participating agencies can either order services either through the GSA or use a direct order/direct bill method.
