US Signal deepens its Ohio Ethernet presence

US Signal, a Midwest regional business service provider, has broadened its Ethernet service presence further into the Ohio market with the addition of Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Dayton to its roster.

This latest expansion will allow businesses that reside in these cities to use virtual Ethernet service as a basis for a number of applications, including high-definition video conferencing, VoIP, and higher speed data services.

Ohio has become one of US Signal's top expansion points. After seeing growth in the Toledo market, the service provider added 1,000 miles of long-haul fiber and began building into four existing data centers in the Ohio market. Going forward, US Signal plans to light metro rings in the major Ohio metro areas.
