Wi-Fi calling is now a key part of wireless operator's networks

Wireless operators now consider Wi-Fi calling to be a key part of their service offering as companies like AT&T (NYSE: T), Sprint (NYSE: S) and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) make Wi-Fi a key part of their service offerings.  Yet many say this is just the start. As Wi-Fi calling matures, it is likely that we will see even more Wi-Fi calling applications being added to mobile operating systems. In fact, Apple's next iPhone release, expected in September, will likely come with its Continuity feature to support Wi-Fi calling on Macs or iPads even when the devices are on different Wi-Fi networks.
