Ethernet exchanges News
An Ethernet exchange is a neutral, shared point at which Ethernet service providers can connect to one or multiple other carriers.
There are two main types of approach to Ethernet exchanges: Exchange specific providers such as CENX, which touts itself as a carrier, co-location, and data-center-neutral service, and evolved entrants such as Equinix, Neutral Tandem and TELX. Recently, USCarrier Telecom has joined CENX, Equinix, Neutral Tandem, and TELX and launched their own Ethernet exchange system.
