Mark Greenquist, president and CEO, joined the company in 2005 as the CFO. Telcordia provides IP, wireline, wireless, and cable services and software and is headquartered in Piscataway, N.J. with offices across South and Central America, Europe, Asia, the United States and Canada.
Formerly Bellcore, Telcordia is a telecommunications company that was created as part of the Modification of Final Judgment (1892), when AT&T agreed to splinter into several smaller companies. Telcordia was the R&D arm of the seven resulting "Baby Bells."
Telcordia, along with developing new technologies (over 1800 patents), strives to provide telecommunications solutions for businesses. Their Next Generation OSS software suite, for example, offers companies sophisticated management solutions for next generation networks and in May 2011 went live in a broadband rollout in Asia.
