Adtran reported revenues for the first quarter 2017 were $170.3 million, up from $142.2 million for the first quarter of 2016.

Verizon
Verizon reported that total consolidated operating revenues in the first quarter of 2017 were $29.8 billion, down 7.3% from the first quarter of 2016.

AT&T 
AT&T's consolidated revenues were $39.4 billion, down from $40.5 billion in the year-ago quarter due to what it said was record-low equipment sales in wireless.

Corning
Driven by growth in its Optical Communications division, Corning reported that its first-quarter revenues were $2.4 billion, up 16% from $2.5 billion in the same quarter a year ago.

Juniper Networks
Juniper’s first quarter net revenues were $1.2 billion, up 11% year-over-year but down 12% sequentially as it saw softness in its cable/telco and security business lines.

Frontier Communications
Frontier reported first-quarter revenue of $2.36 billion, down from $2.41 billion in the fourth quarter of 2016. Operating income was $271 million. The company reported $75 million net loss.

CenturyLink 
CenturyLink’s first-quarter revenues slid to $4.21 billion, reflecting another round of weaker broadband additions and ongoing legacy TDM service losses.

Level 3 Communications
Level 3 reported total revenue was $2.05 billion for the first quarter 2017, compared to $2.05 billion for the first quarter 2016. In the first quarter 2017, the company generated net income of $95 million and basic earnings per share of 26 cents.

Cogent Communications 
Cogent reported total revenues of $117.2 million, up 8.2% from $108.3 million from the same period a year ago.

Consolidated Communications
Consolidated’s total first-quarter revenue was $169.9 million, up from $188.8 million in the first quarter of 2016, which included $11.4 million of revenue from businesses which the company divested in 2016, the equipment sales business and the Iowa ILEC property.

Windstream
Windstream reported that total revenues and sales were $1.37 billion and total service revenues were $1.34 billion in the first quarter. Operating income was $46 million compared to $158 million in the same period a year ago.

Shentel reported total revenues of $153.9 million, up 66.2% compared to $92.6 million for the 2016 first quarter.

Uniti’s consolidated operating results for the first quarter were again in line with its expectations, with consolidated revenues of $211.5 million and consolidated adjusted EBITDA of $177 million.

TDS’ parent company Telephone and Data Systems reported total operating revenues of $1.24  billion for the first quarter of 2017, versus $1.25 billion for the same period one year ago.

Lumos Networks
Lumos reported total first-quarter revenue was $54.9 million, up 8% from the prior year period. The company generated an operating loss of $1.6 million for the three months ended March 31, 2017, down from operating income of $3.1 million in the prior-year period.

Cincinnati Bell
Cincinnati Bell reported consolidated revenue for the first quarter of 2017 was $278 million, down 4% from the prior year primarily due to the decline of telecom and IT hardware sales.

Hawaiian Telcom
Hawaiian Telcom reported that first-quarter revenue was $94.5 million, down from $98.8 million in the first quarter of 2016. The company said that revenue declines related to legacy voice and low-bandwidth internet services were partially offset by revenue increases from consumer video, high-bandwidth business data services, and equipment and related services.

Zayo Group
Zayo reported that fiscal third quarter revenue was $550 million, due to the acquisition of ELI on March 1. Zayo said the run rate revenue will be higher than the $550 million March quarter as it only included the one month of ELI.

Cisco reported third-quarter revenue of $11.9 billion. Net income on a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) basis was $2.5 billion, or 50 cents per share.
