XO strengthens its federal government ties with DLT Solutions agreement

XO (OTC BB: XOHO) has enhanced its presence in the federal government services space through a new relationship with DLT Solutions, a value added reseller focused on selling IT software and services to the federal government.

Under the terms of the agreement, DLT will provide XO's suite of IP communications, hosted IT and managed network solutions to federal government agencies. Among the many XO products DLT Solutions will deliver include enterprise VoIP and SIP Trunking, managed MPLS and Ethernet VPLS wide area networking, and high-performance data center and network connectivity solutions.

Federal agencies that purchase services through the DLT/XO alliance will not only benefit from XO's deep domestic reach in the U.S., but also access to over 45 international countries, including its recent network expansion in Europe, Asia and South America.

XO has been gaining continued momentum in the federal government space with a notable $45 million contract to provide managed services to the US Postal Service. While XO will obviously continue to drive its presence in the federal government independently, establishing relationships with VARs like DLT will give it another established channel to penetrate a vertical segment that's been traditionally dominated by incumbent service providers.
