Ernest Cunningham's entrepreneurial experience has proved to be a critical edge for data and voice network solutions provider One Source Networks. Cunningham built a multimillion-dollar real estate holding and management company at the start of his career and brought that success to the telecom industry.
A veteran of Broadwing Communications, where he built the provider's national accounts and wholesale markets segments, Cunningham became a principal founder of One Source Networks after Level 3 Communications (Nasdaq: LVLT) purchased Broadwing. OSN delivers and manages wide area networks for medium to large enterprise clients, boasting a carrier-agnostic service and a single-source channel -delivering all its network and voice solutions under one contract, with one account and service team.
OSN is currently riding the wave of demand for ever-more-complex data networks as the popularity of cloud-based services and VoIP increases. San Antonio-based OSN was founded in 2006 and added VoIP services to its portfolio in 2008. This year it ranked ninth in Inc. magazine's Fastest-Growing Private Companies, and topped the telecommunications segment of the rankings.
