América Móvil
Citing slow growth in Mexico and a "soft patch" for the U.S. economy at the start of the second quarter, America Movil saw its profits drop by 25.4 percent year over year to $895 million (14.05 billion pesos).

Verizon (NYSE: VZ)
Verizon reported that while it continued to see an uptick in customers purchasing its 75 Mbps Quantum speed tiers, overall FiOS growth slowed during the second quarter of 2015.

Infinera
Driven by ongoing sales of its DTN-X and the emerging Cloud Xpress platforms, Infinera reported second-quarter revenues of $207.3 million, up sequentially from $186.9 million in the first quarter of 2015 and $165.4 million in the second-quarter of 2014.

AT&T (NYSE: T)
AT&T reported second-quarter consolidated revenues of $33 billion, up 1.4 percent year-over-year from second-quarter 2014 reflecting its Mexican acquisitions and pressure from foreign exchange and global hubbing exit. Revenues were up 2.2 percent when adjusting for the sale of the Connecticut wireline operations to Frontier in the fourth-quarter of 2014.

Juniper Networks
Juniper reported net revenues of $1.2 billion for the second-quarter, down 1 percent year-over-year but up 15 percent sequentially. Operating margin rose 10.5 percentage points from the same period a year ago.

Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU)
Alcatel-Lucent reported that revenue rose to $3.79 billion. It lowered net loss narrowed to $59 million in the quarter from $325 million a year earlier.

Cincinnati Bell 
Cincinnati Bell reported that second-quarter 2015 consolidated revenue was $286 million, up $3 million year-over-year. Operating income for the quarter totaled $30 million and adjusted EBITDA equaled $75 million.

Shenandoah Telecom 
Shentel reported that second-quarter carrier access and fiber revenue for the quarter was $10.2 million, a 5.3 percent increase from $9.6 million for the same quarter last year, due to growth in new fiber contracts driven mainly by the cable segment.

Telephone and Data Systems reported total operating revenues of $1.28 billion for the second quarter of 2015, up year-over-year from $1.24 billion in the same period a year ago.

Frontier Communications 
Broadband service overall continued to be a factor in the second quarter as the company added 29,200 net customers, up from the 17,100 it added in the first quarter of 2015. The telco ended the quarter with a total of 2.4 million broadband customers.

EarthLink 
Speaking to investors during the second quarter earnings call, Joe Eazor, CEO of EarthLink, said that it continues to see good demand and sales traction for dark fiber in the carrier, enterprise and content provider segments.

Hawaiian Telcom 
Overall second quarter revenue was $96.2 million, down from $96.8 million in the second quarter of 2014.  The company said revenue growth in the quarter, which was driven by video, HSI, and data center and cloud services, was offset by the impact from a 6 percent decline in access lines and a $0.5 million decrease in wholesale carrier data revenue.

CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL)
Driven mainly by an uptick in broadband Internet and Prism TV subscribers, along with select service price increases, strategic consumer revenues were $758 million, up 6.9 percent year-over-year from the second quarter 2014. Total consumer revenues remained flat year-over-year at $1.5 billion.

FairPoint Communications
Ethernet continued to be a factor in FairPoint's second quarter 2015 earnings mix, contributing nearly $23.5 million of revenue or 11 percent of total revenue, up from $20.9 million or 9.3 percent of total revenue a year ago, as retail and wholesale Ethernet circuits grew 28 percent year-over-year.

During the quarter, Consolidated added 2,300 new net consumer broadband subscribers. Consumer broadband revenue was $54 million up from $53.8 million in the same period a year ago.

Lumos Networks 
Second-quarter 2015 company operating revenues were $50.9 million, up from $50.1 million in the same period a year ago. For the full year 2015, the company reiterated its financial guidance with approximately $202 million in revenue, Adjusted EBITDA of approximately $92 million and capital expenditures of approximately $112 million.

Ciena
Ciena reported that its fiscal third quarter 2015 income rose 19 percent to $23.6 million amidst a drop in revenue due to delays at a number of its large Tier 1 service provider customers. The company earnings were $602.9 million, down from $603.6 million from the same period a year ago.

Zayo Group
Momentum in Zayo's wireless backhaul continued to grow throughout the fiscal fourth quarter. As of the end of June, Zayo sold services to over 800 macro tower and small cell sites that leverage previous anchor fiber-to-the-tower (FTTT) network builds already in place.
