Aepona adds CEO, expands in North America

Irish service delivery platform vendor Aepona, a specialist in the Web 2.0 services movement for telcos, has hired a new CEO and is expanding its presence in North America with the opening of a new office in Denver, Colo. The vendor's new CEO is former Carrier Access Corp. chief Al Snyder, who led the sale of that firm to Turin Networks.

Aepona's expansion is being inspired by recent actions on the Telco 2.0 front. The vendor already has a key carrier relationship in North America with Canadian carrier Telus.
