ANDA files for $86 million IPO

ANDA Networks, a maker of Ethernet gear, including the Ethernet over copper technology increasingly popular with telcos, has filed for an initial public offering with the intention of raising at least $86 million. The company recently was at the center of OEM partner Ciena's converged Ethernet supply agreement with BT, and has other key carrier accounts, though Light Reading notes that most of ANDA's revenue traditionally has come from relatively few carriers. ANDA's filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission says it sees its addressable market headed toward $3.4 billion by 2010.
