Apple TV sales momentum wanes, while Amazon ups its app, channel lineup

Apple TV (NASDAQ: AAPL) may be an early pioneer in the online video race, but the company's grip on the growing market has taken a hit as company sales have slowed. According to a new Strategy Analytics report, Apple TV's share of the worldwide OTT streaming device market has fallen 10 points since 2012, from claiming 38 percent of sales two years ago to 27 percent in 2014.
