Reports were circulating early yesterday that some AT&T U-verse customers had suffered an outage of their TV services on Sunday. Now, AT&T is confirming that customers in 33 markets experience an outage starting Sunday morning that wasn't fully restored until Sunday evening.
We've heard individual users knock U-verse for minor service glitches before, though we can't imagine it's anything worse than what they put up with from the cable TV company (We speak from personal experience). Still, telcos aren't known for prolonged outages on a national-scale. Will this one affect AT&T's nascent TV strategy and reputation?
