AT&T confirms U-Verse outage

Reports were circulating early yesterday that some AT&T U-verse customers had suffered an outage of their TV services on Sunday. Now, AT&T is confirming that customers in 33 markets experience an outage starting Sunday morning that wasn't fully restored until Sunday evening.

Still, telcos aren't known for prolonged outages on a national-scale. Will this one affect AT&T's nascent TV strategy and reputation?
