AT&T expands U-verse TV app support on smartphones, tablets

AT&T (NYSE: T) is giving its U-verse customers another way to engage with their video service outside of their home by adding support for Android smartphones and tablets, starting with a Poker Night TV app, reports FierceCable. Initially, AT&T supported apps for Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPad and iPhone that allow subscribers to set remote DVR recordings, view program listings and watch video programming.
