Who: Blue Ridge Communications

Vitals: This firm originated as a TV signal company--Palmerton TV Signal Corp. in Palmerton, Penn., more than 50 years ago, and now offer cable TV and broadband Internet, as well as voice telephony in some of its markets. It provides service to 175,000 homes in central and eastern Pennsylvania, making it the country's eighteenth largest cable TV company.
