Cable's broadband subs are set to eclipse video base, says Moody's

Whether it's consumers fed up with the high price of content or the desire for higher speeds to support gaming, a new Moody's report revealed that cable operators' broadband subscriber base will soon surpass their bread and butter video business. In its new Investor Service report "Couch Potatoes Are Switching Screens as High-Speed Cable Subscribers Overtake Video," Moody's said that beginning next year, cable operators will start serving more broadband subscribers than video subscribers.
