CableLabs McKinney sets focus on driving DOCSIS 3.1, Wi-Fi and 4K innovations

Phil McKinney, the former Hewlett-Packard CTO who took the reins of CableLabs 28 months ago, has set a simple focus on enhancing the cable industry's technical innovation. Among the top priorities on his to-do list are to accelerate product cycles for DOCSIS, Wi-Fi, set-tops, 4K and other industry initiatives.
