Why you should care: Cavalier has been growing steadily, acquiring TalkAmerica and Elantic in 2006, and several other companies over the last seven years. It also has move aggressively into TV services.

What's next: Cavalier is now deploying mid-band Ethernet technology from Hatteras Networks.
