Cincinnati Bell realigns top management to capitalize on growing data center business

Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB), which reported a surge in Q2 2011 revenues due to gains in its data center subsidiary CyrusOne, has decided to shuffle its management deck to capitalize on the growth of the data center business.

The service provider has named Gary J. Wojtaszek as the president of CyrusOne, while Kurt A. Freyberger will become Cincinnati Bell's CFO.

By assuming the role as president of CyrusOne, Wojtaszek will oversee all of the operations, sales, marketing and customer care at the data center subsidiary with the ultimate goal of making a stronger name for itself as a supplier of data center services to Fortune 1000 companies.

In addition to becoming CyrusOne's president, Wojtaszek was recently appointed as a member of Cincinnati Bell's board of directors.

Meanwhile, Freyberger will now oversee all of Cincinnati Bell's corporate accounting, finance, treasury and tax functions, in addition to investor relations and corporate communications. Since joining Cincinnati Bell in 2005 as the company's controller, he took on the role as overseeing investor relations and corporate communications in 2009 in addition to serving as the division CFO of Cincinnati Bell Communications.
