Cisco's DiviTech acquisition has IPTV implications

Cisco Systems moved to acquire Danish service management company DiviTech this week in a deal that will have implications for IPTV service providers. The company's digital-service management system can help companies launch and deliver localized content, a key feature but also a sometimes overlooked one in the race to integrate online video and other types of content with IPTV systems.
