Comcast's Xfinity home automation service draws in triple play customers

WatercopComcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) is finding that its ongoing move into home automation and security service is helping to attract new triple play customers into its fold. As seen in FierceCable's new feature on home automation, 41 percent of the cable MSO's Xfinity Home customers are new Comcast subscribers, and 64 percent of those customers are purchasing its cable TV, broadband Internet and telephone service triple play bundle.
