At this week's Broadband World Forum Europe event in Berlin, Bridget Cosgrave, executive vice president of Belgacom's enterprise unit, expressed none of the usual dismissive talk about how convergence is over-hyped and lacks real meaning. Instead, the executive from the Belgian incumbent telco, broke down broadband convergence opportunities into four key areas and described where progress stood in each segment. She also called convergence "fun."
