Softswitch vendor CopperCom can no longer be described in exactly those terms, as the company confirmed it has stopped selling its softswitch products. The firm, according to its CEO, will continue to provide customer support for products deployed in the field. The IP migration continues to drive softswitch sales higher, but there are also many softswitch vendors fighting for relatively few customer relationships in the post-consolidation telco world.
