Covad Communications says VoIP value (that means price) may still be a priority for small and medium-sized business customers, but they also are now much more interested in quality of service than they once were. Has the market really matured that much, or is Covad trying to push it along?
Actually, the wholesale VoIP operator is preaching quality service bundle management as part of its mantra to the SMB ecosystem, and a Covad official speaking at VON.x in San Jose, Calif., last week VoIP quality may be a function of having a end-to-end service quality philosophy for the entire bundle.
