Dave Grimaldi becomes Clyburn's new chief of staff

FCC Commissioner Mignon Clyburn is making some changes to her team by appointing Dave Grimaldi as her new chief of staff and media legal advisor.

Prior to his new post, Grimaldi been counsel to majority whip James E. Clyburn (who is Clyburn's father) where he focused on telecom and technology.

Grimaldi will take over from Angela Kronenberg, who had been serving as her acting chief of staff after Rick Kaplan was named chief counsel and senior legal advisor to FCC chairman Julius Genachowski in July. Kronenberg will continue to carry out her duties as Clyburn's wireline advisor.
