Dell'Oro: Wireline gear revenue hit $36 billion

Market research firm Dell'Oro Group is reporting that worldwide spending on wireline network equipment by service providers grew more than 10 percent in 2007 to $36 billion. Optical transport and routers showed the largest increases, while broadband access and multiservice switch segments declined.
