EoC player Aktino hires Martin as new CEO

Aktino, one of the vendors in the burgeoning Ethernet-over-copper market, has hired Lonnie Martin, former White Rock Networks CEO and ADC Telecommunications executive, as its new CEO. Martin replaces Bruce Kimble, who has left the company.

AT&T and Verizon reportedly have made commitments to the technology, though they haven't publicized their vendor choices.
