Ericsson names regional heads to executive team

Hans Vestberg might have a little more than a month under his belt as Ericsson's President and CEO, but that's not stopping him from continuing to make changes to the company's management team.

This week, Vestberg named Ericsson veterans Mats H. Olsson and Angel Ruiz, who currently oversee the company's China and North America regions, to the company's executive leadership team.

Although both Olsson and Ruiz will continue in their current roles, they are now part of Ericsson's inner executive circle.

Vestberg has wasted no time making his mark on Ericsson's management team since he took over as company CEO last month. Among other key division appointments were Magnus Mandersson to the head of global services and Rima Qureshi as head of CDMA mobile systems, both of whom were also named to Ericsson's Executive Leadership Team.
