Ericsson's Vestberg continues transformative path

Hans Vestberg, president and CEO of Ericsson (Nasdaq: ERIC), will go down in the telecom history books as the man who helped transform what critics said was once a "staid" infrastructure company. A key element of Vestberg's strategy has been building out new capabilities by acquiring key new elements in OSS and software. During his tenure, he architected deals to acquire BSS/OSS firm Telcordia in 2012 and Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) MediaRoom last year.
