FCC pauses review process on Charter-Time Warner Cable deals

Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR) will have to wait a bit longer to complete its acquisitions of Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) and Bright House Networks as the FCC has paused its "shot clock" on a six-month review of these deals.

The regulator said the 15-day pause will give it more time to evaluate documents filed in December by the merging companies, relating primarily to Charter's residential pricing and packaging strategies, as well as TWC's regional sports network business
