FiberMedia launches cloud channel partner program

FiberMedia, a growing data center services provider, has launched a new channel partners program to extend its line of cloud and managed business services to a broader customer base.

Leading the new program will be Matthew Alexander, who has been appointed to the position of director of channels. Alexander will oversee and guide the launch, management and growth of the new Channel Partner Program.

The program will focus on promoting FiberMedia's cloud options and managed business services offerings.

Alexander brings plenty of experience to the table. In addition to overseeing the channel program at Sidera Networks, he led channel partner and business development efforts at NTT America, PAETEC Communications and Cypress Communications.

Besides launching the channel partner program, Alexander will be tasked with developing new promotional offers for the unit. His first promotional concept follows FiberMedia's Project Velocity program for agents, which ran until the end of last year.

The new channel partner program caps off what was a busy year for FiberMedia, when it also gained SSAE 16 certification and expanded its Secaucus, N.J., data center.
