Frontier appoints 'Frank the American Buffalo' as its new DSL spokesman

Frank the Frontier buffaloFrontier Communications (Nasdaq: FTR) is using a talking buffalo named Frank to get more subscribers to tune into its DSL service. As reported in FierceCable, the new ad campaign--its first in years--is focused on pitching a $19.99 monthly DSL service if they sign a three-year contract. In addition to broadcast, print and online ads, Frank will help the telco market its products through social media and through wraps placed on its fleet of service trucks. Read more
