inetwork serves up E-911 service for video provider ZVRS

ZVRS, a video relay service provider, has turned to inetwork to get its voice and E-911 call routing services.

Under the terms of the agreement, ZVRS will integrate inetworks' Voice Origination and Termination, and IP-based E-911 call routing solution into its Z videophone and Z soft phone application.

Ken McCann, VP of Operations at ZVRS, said that handing off its E-911 functions to inetwork "gives us operational and economic efficiencies and helps us focus on the needs of our customers."

Being a part of the bandwidth family of companies, the agreement with ZVRS is one of several the service provider has established in recent years. In addition to working with a number of over the top VoIP providers such as Vonage (NYSE: VG) and 8x8 (Nasdaq: EGHT), it has established an agreement with independent ILEC Cincinnati Bell (NYSE: CBB).
