ivi, a service provider known for streaming broadcast TV content, might become just another mention in the over the top (OTT) video history books as The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has said that a preliminary injunction against it is correct. In its ruling, the court said that that picking up over-the-air transmission signals and retransmitting them over the Internet would cause "irreparable harm" to the broadcasting industry.
