KPN appoints Steven Van Schilfgaarde as interim CFO

KPN has passed the CFO keys to Steven Van Schilfgaarde, who will serve as the telco's interim CFO, taking over from Eric Hageman, who resigned earlier this month for what he said were personal reasons.

Hagerman served as KPN's CFO for less than a year.

In his new role, Van Schilfgaarde will be responsible for the Control and Reporting, Accounting, Fiscal Affairs and Treasury departments, while CEO Eelco Blok will handle Investor Relations and M&A.

Prior to his new position, Van Schilfgaarde served as the CEO of CEO of KPN IT Solutions and was expected to leave the company at the end of September after the company completed the integration of IT Solutions in the Business Market division.

KPN's supervisory board is in the process of looking for a permanent replacement to take over the CFO role.
