Macomb County Michigan turns to Waveform Technology for network redundancy

With 53 buildings, school districts and city halls connected to its MACnet fiber-based network, Macomb County, Mich. is no slouch in the fiber department.

But to maintain network redundancy, the county turned to Metro Detroit area data center operator and ISP Waveform Technology, which just expanded its southeast fiber network. Waveform provisioned a 100 Mbps Metro Ethernet circuit for Macomb County.

In addition to maintaining network redundancy, Macomb County found that they could connect to Waveform's network for 'a fraction of the cost that other carriers charge.'
