Motorola will report separate Q1 financials for its four units

As Motorola prepares to divide up its Mobile devices, Home business, Enterprise Mobility Solutions and Networks into separate companies next year, it will report separate financial results for its four respective units in Q1 2010.

While Motorola's home and networks results were traditionally reported as combined units, the company will now report mobile device division financials; its home division, which sells STBs; its enterprise mobility division; and its wireless networks unit separately.

In addition, Motorola will provide share-based compensation or intangible asset amortization expenses to each of the operating business units.
