NetCracker announces results of 2010 global service provider survey; Iowa Network Services speaks out

> Competitive VoIP provider VoicePulse has decided to expand its relationship with 360Networks. A 360Networks customer since 2008, VoicePulse has added Toll Free Origination to the suite of services it purchases from the wholesale provider. Release

> NetCracker is using this week's Management World Americas conference in Orlando, Fla. to announce the results of its 2010 Global Service Provider Survey. Covering more than 50 major communications service providers, the survey which was conducted in conjunction with Pipeline Magazine, was intended to get real-time information on the opportunities, challenges, and investment areas CSPs will face over the next three years. > Zayo Group's leaders will participate in three upcoming financial conferences this month in New York City. Today, Zayo's Chief Financial Officer, Ken desGarennes, participated in a panel discussion at the Piper Jaffray Technology, Media & Telecommunications Conference. Meanwhile, Zayo's President and CEO, Dan Caruso, will give a presentation at the Stephens Conference in New York on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 10:30am EST and at the Citi North American Credit Conference in New York on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 11:30am EST. > UNH-IOL and PON silicon provider BroadLight announced at today's TelcoTV conference that they will provide a GPON testing tool for the cable and telecom industry. UNH-IOL will bring its considerable focus and expertise in creating interoperability and conformance testing suites to the effort, while BroadLight, as one of the pioneers in GPON will leverage its Optical Line Terminal (OLT) development platform. > NTT posted flat operating revenues for the first half of the year that ended on September 30. During the quarter, operating revenues were flat at JPY 4.99 trillion while operating income grew by 12.4 percent to JPY 727 billion from JPY 646.8 billion in the year-ago period as operating expenses fell 1.8 percent. > Like U.S.-based wireline telcos, Telekom Austria felt the effect of wireline voice losses in Q3 as group revenues fell 3.8 percent to $1.65 billion. TA attributes the decline on a "challenging macro-economic environment, fierce competition and regulatory pressure." Story
