Report: DT to restructure T-Systems

German telco giant Deutsche Telekom reportedly is planning to combine the enterprise and business operating units within its T-Systems subsidiary. If it happens, this will be the latest effort to deal with T-Systems' ongoing struggles. The unit has seen financial metrics decline in the business portion of its operation, as well as overall in its home market. Its lead sales executive also recently left the company.

Originally, DT reportedly had wanted to find a strategic partner for a large portion of the company, but now those partnering efforts may be focused specifically on the systems integration part of T-Systems.
