Report: FCC weighs reclassifying OTT providers as MVPDs

Over-the-top video providers may be closer to being reclassified as MVPDs. A FierceOnlineVideo report citing a Multichannel News article reveals that three Democratic FCC commissioners have voted to approve the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) circulated a few weeks ago by Chairman Tom Wheeler.
