SPOTLIGHT: House panel OKs Net tax extension


The House Judiciary Committee voted last week to extend the Internet tax ban that is set to expire on Nov. 1. The committee's approval allowed the proposal to continue moving forward in Congress, though multiple ideas about how to extend the ban and for how long continue to weigh down the issue.
