SPOTLIGHT: Rural telcos like IPTV results


TelcoTV in Atlanta this week has become a showcase for smaller telcos deploying IPTV. Officials from Ben Lomand Telephone, Cavalier Telephone and West Kentucky Rural Telephony spoke on a panel at the event about the challenges and pay-offs involved in offering IPTV.

As AT&T copes with the aftermath of a national outage of its IPTV service, these small telcos are finding some success, but wisely taking it one day at a time.
